Kathleen Doody

Kathleen Doody has been creating pebble mosaics for over 15 years in her studio on Toronto Island. She draws inspiration from pebbles she finds on Lake Ontario beaches, and beyond. In 2009 Kathleen studied with Maggy Howarth at her studio in England. Upon her return, she taught, and worked with, over 50 Islanders and friends to create the 12’ diameter Willow Square Mosaic. In 2018 and again in 2022 Kathleen was an artist-in-residence at the Olive Stack Gallery in Listowel, Ireland. In November 2021, she installed her 42”x72” Threshold mosaic at the Ruins Project in Pennsylvania. She has created two pebble mosaic instructional videos, available from Mosaic Arts Online.
